Client Flash Introduction

Who is the client?  Ana’s Grand Excursions (anasgrandexcursions.com)

What you will do:

• You and your team will create a short (15-30 second) Flash Introduction to the Ana’s Grand Excursion web site. 
• The introductory video should serve to captivate the user’s attention and promote the purpose of the web site (selling tours of Jackson Hole).   It should use the idea of web page “stickiness” – making the user “stick around” on the web site long enough to become “invested” in the information on the site.
• Think about your “target market”
• Who will buy these trips?
• Make a video that will appeal to THIS group – not your peer group
• You will present your completed project to the client and she will select the video to place on the web site.

Project Specifications:

• Stage Dimensions:  800 x 600
• Shade of  “green” must be consistent: 
• Include a “bypass” option to go directly to the main page without viewing the demo
• Photos and Graphics:  Use only photos from Ana’s Grand Excursions web site, or those provided on the project directions web site.
• Create a storyboard BEFORE you begin production of your project
• Mrs. Sanchez must approve your storyboard before you begin Flash work

Notes from Client!

These tours are expensive and high end... so I can't have it look too silly.
I realize that my "logo" is a bit of that childlike nature, but try to
make the intro classy and cheery.

No audio please.

And please provide an "escape" button... so if someone doesn't want to see
the video intro again, they can just click and get to the welcome page.

Somehow I'd like the beginning to say:
Congratulations, you have found the finest and most distinctive tour
provider in Jackson Hole.

After that, I'd like the intro to say:
Specializing in
* Small Private Tours
* Expert Customized Design
* Fun Entertainment for Families

If there is time/space/room... and they want to include more words they can
say:
We will delight you, guaranteed!

• Day 4, 5, 6, 7, 8:  Complete and Publish Flash Video
• Day 9:  Prepare Presentation for client
• Day 10 & 11:  Present presentation to peers
  • Receive feedback
  • Edit and practice presentations
• Day 12 (Date TBD):  Present to client
